Emerald Green Long Velvet Dress - From A Little Touch of Magick Consignments! This is an insanely gorgeous, deep emerald green, long velvet dress with laser cut accents. This dress looks like two pieces, but is really just one. It has laser cut accents on the overlay and sleeves. Due to it's unique color, it is almost impossible to get a good picture of. Long Black Dress by Phaze - This is a wonderful long black dress for summer time. This dress is made by Phaze clothing and was purchased from Drac in a Box in England for over $200 a while back. I never wore this dress anywhere, only tried it on. The dress is labeled a size small but I would recommend it for a medium sized girl. Also, if you have a small chest the dress may not work for you unless you take it in. The dress is made of a soft black velvet material with a mesh (but not see-through) type material down the middle, with a red cris-cross stripe down the center of that. Vintage Gold Patterned Dress with Bustle - It's hard to describe this one – it's a vintage garment perhaps 30 years old, made from jacquard loomed fabric. It has a straight falling skirt with a bustle style panel over it that dips in back. It features beautifully puffed and detailed sleeves. Black Sea & Mountain Formal Kimono - I think the Tomesode, women's formal kimono, is one of the most beautiful garments in the world. Here is a vintage winter Tomesode, a nice, substantial flowing weight. Made of heavy black rayon (very black - pictures lightened for detail), lined with white rayon, with a gorgeous landscape scene of mountains and sea, painted, dyed and embroidered with some gold leafing. When worn the scene wraps around the bottom of the kimono and sweeps up towards one side. It has brilliant colour and absolutely beautiful motif with sparkles of gold thread embroidery, which contrasts sharply with the black silk); workmanship in this kimono is wonderful throughout with much hand work! This is from my own collection and is in very good condition. Please note: the obi I'm using is not included. It measures 23.5" across, 61" long (traditionally one folds it at the waist under the obi to adjust length, it can be worn with a corset or sash, too). To wear it kimono style with obi or corset I would say it fits no bigger than a size 10. Silver Dress - This vintage 1980s white prom dress has been dyed shimmering silver. Size small. You can rip it, shred it, or cover it with blood. The top layer is sheer shimmering net fabric over gray satin, with a gray satin lining, and a black crinoline under the wide bottom ruffle. It is sheer, although it photographs opaque. Sheer double ruffles line the neckline all the way around, with a silver bow on each shoulder. The front of the bodice is boned, and comes to a V at the waist above the large bell-shaped skirt. In the back, over the long back zipper, a silver sash can be tied into a huge bow. The top layer of the skirt is gathered up in four places. Overall length is 48". You'll need to wear a cincher with this one! The elastic at the shoulders needs to be re-attached to the ruffles for about 1" each on each side. $20 (plus $8 shipping)

"Evil Snow White" Black & Purple Velvet Dress - Made by New World Designs. The tag does not indicate size, so it's probably custom-made. I bought this at least 7 years ago off eBay, and have never seen another one like it. This dress looks like a dark take on the Snow White style of dress. The dress is black velvet with a center panel of dark purple velvet. The sleeves are short and puffy, in black alternating with purple. The neckline is triangular, as you can see in the photos, and comes down rather low. There is black cord lacing at the bodice. The dress is longer in the back than the front, and the front has two slits for walking (or showing off your legs/shoes), which you can't see very well in the pictures. The dress zips in the back. This is a small dress, but frankly, because of the low neckline, I'd suggest someone who can summon up some cleavage – the dress shows to an advantage with that. It's roughly a size small. Measurements are as follows, measured flat: bust 30", waist 28" flaring out at the hips. The dress is approximately 50" long in the front, and 57" long in the back. It fit me when my measurements were: 34A, 27" waist, 37" hips. It might look better on someone who is a bit larger in cup size, and an inch smaller in the waist/hips. If you need me to double-check the measurements, email me. I see nothing wrong with the dress, and would like it to go a home where it will be worn more. Long Black Buckle Dress by Le Chateau - (Canada) Size large or size 13/14. This dress has two buckle straps at the top to adjust for proper fitting. It also has one long slit on the front that measures 17" long, and a left side zipper that measures 13.5". It measures 36" bust, 34" waist, and 38" hips. The dress is 76" long measured from the top of the shoulder strap to the bottom hem. Material is 65% polyester and 35% rayon. Silvery Grey & Black Dress by Cyxtees - This is a very pretty, dramatic, Cyxtees long black velvet dress with silvery gray insets. It's sleeveless. It was worn once, and has been hanging in my closet for awhile. The tag says 60% nylon, 36% acetate, and 4% spandex. Hand wash cold, line dry or dry clean. Black Velvet Renaissance Dress by Lip Service - This is a Renaissance-style Lip Service dress that I purchased new about 6 years ago, and then never wore. It longs to be worn. I have no idea what line it was from. It is made of lush black velvet and has no stretch at all to it. There are insets of purple satin with delicate black lace overlays. The dress is trimmed in black braided cord, and there is corset-style lacing down both sides and down the upper arms so that you can get a really good fit. The sleeves bell out at the bottom and come to points, and there is a slight train in the back that comes to a point. It zips up the back. Size petite or extra-small. I have never worn this, and it has been kept in a clean, dry closet, away from pets and in a non-smoking home. This dress is just so gorgeous! I paid $150 for it when I purchased it. Vintage Ivory Victorian Prairie-Style Dress - This is a romantic ivory dress made in the Gunne-Sax-style, but it does not have a manufacturer's or size tag. It is of good quality, though, and fits the romantic Victorian prairie style. It seems to be a size small. The bust is approximately 30", the high waist is 26", and the hips are fuller so this is an estimate but I wouldn't go over 32 to 34". Since there is no content tag, I'm guessing that the fabric of the dress is some kind of muslin or poplin, and there is a lace panel that goes down the front. The dress is full-length and drags the ground on my 5'3" frame. The bodice laces up and is adjustable. The sleeves have lace inset on them, and the dress is trimmed in beautiful crocheted lace. There doesn't appear to be any sweat stains under the arms, and the dress overall is quite clean. The only repairs the dress requires are where the fabric has come undone from the zipper in two spots, less than 1" each. It would take just a few minutes and a needle and thread to close them up. They don't appear to be ripped, the threads have just come loose. I think this dress is in very good condition considering its age, but please remember it is vintage and does show wear. This is a gorgeous dress, and I would love to see it go to a good home! I don't know exactly when this dress was made, and my best guess is the 1970s or early 1980s, but anyone who loves romantic clothing, especially in the vein or Renaissance or Victorian clothing will want to have this in their collection. Satin & Velvet Gown with Matching Wrap - This is such a lovely and elegant dress! It was handmade by a friend of mine. This is the bridesmaid dress that my sister wore for my wedding. The bodice is made of velvet in a beautiful shade of dark purple. The skirt and matching wrap are made of a gorgeous dark blue-ish-purple satin. It is fully lined and very well-tailored. The wrap really ties the whole outfit together, and adds a really nice touch. The skirt is very full and ball-gown-ish. The skirt has 2 layers of fabric with full black petticoats underneath, and a slip-like lining so the petticoat netting won't scratch you. It zips up the side and is not stretchy. It fits like a size extra-small to small, bust 32" up to 34" (fits a bit better on a 32" though), waist up to 28", hips free, length 56". The matching satin wrap is about 17.5" by 81". Only worn once and in excellent condition. The only flaw I can find is that the velvet seems to have faded to a slightly red-ish-purple just under each armpit area. This is only in a small area though, so it shouldn't really be noticeable when it's worn. Smoke-free, pet-free household. Chestnut Brown Velvet Burn-Out Dress - This is a beautiful long velvet dress with an intricate burn-out pattern. The color is a lovely, rich, dark, chestnut brown. It has two layers - the bottom is a stretchy black under-dress and the top part is the velvet burn-out layer. Made by Pariscope. No size tag, but I would call it a size small, bust 34", waist up to 30", hips about 36", and length is 51". It looks like someone altered this dress to make the shoulder straps a couple of inches shorter - this could easily be undone with a stitch-ripper if you don't like how it fits. Black & Sheer Dress from Laundry by Shelli Segal - I wish that this dress would fit me! It is so gorgeous, and it's just a little bit too big for me. Made by prestigious design label Laundry by Shelli Segal. This is a beautifully tailored dress. It has a sheer area just above the bust and another starting around mid-thigh (these are a bit hard to see in my photos, even though I've lightened them). The sheer areas are an entire over-dress actually, and it's attached to a little silky under-dress. It is slinky and flowing. It zips up the back and fastens with a button at the neck. The skirt is slightly longer in the back than in the front. 100% rayon. Size 6, or medium, bust about 34", waist up to 30", hips 36", length 48" in front and about 54" in back. While taking the measurements for this dress I noticed that there is one tiny snag in the sheer overdress, it is right near the bottom on the left side. I bought this dress used and I've never worn it. It looks like the previous owner tried to mend this tiny flaw, and it's really not noticeable at all when the dress is worn. 	Black Sea & Mountain Formal Kimono - I think the Tomesode, women's formal kimono, is one of the most beautiful garments in the world. Here is a vintage winter Tomesode, a nice, substantial flowing weight. Made of heavy black rayon (very black - pictures lightened for detail), lined with white rayon, with a gorgeous landscape scene of mountains and sea, painted, dyed and embroidered with some gold leafing. When worn the scene wraps around the bottom of the kimono and sweeps up towards one side. It has brilliant colour and absolutely beautiful motif with sparkles of gold thread embroidery, which contrasts sharply with the black silk); workmanship in this kimono is wonderful throughout with much hand work! This is from my own collection and is in very good condition. Please note: the obi I'm using is not included. 	Silver Dress - This vintage 1980s white prom dress has been dyed shimmering silver. Size small. You can rip it, shred it, or cover it with blood. The top layer is sheer shimmering net fabric over gray satin, with a gray satin lining, and a black crinoline under the wide bottom ruffle. It is sheer, although it photographs opaque. Sheer double ruffles line the neckline all the way around, with a silver bow on each shoulder. The front of the bodice is boned, and comes to a V at the waist above the large bell-shaped skirt. In the back, over the long back zipper, a silver sash can be tied into a huge bow. The top layer of the skirt is gathered up in four places. Overall length is 48". You'll need to wear a cincher with this one! 	"Evil Snow White" Black & Purple Velvet Dress - Made by New World Designs. The tag does not indicate size, so it's probably custom-made. I bought this at least 7 years ago off eBay, and have never seen another one like it. This dress looks like a dark take on the Snow White style of dress. The dress is black velvet with a center panel of dark purple velvet. The sleeves are short and puffy, in black alternating with purple. The neckline is triangular, as you can see in the photos, and comes down rather low. There is black cord lacing at the bodice. The dress is longer in the back than the front, and the front has two slits for walking (or showing off your legs/shoes), which you can't see very well in the pictures. The dress zips in the back. This is a small dress, but frankly, because of the low neckline, I'd suggest someone who can summon up some cleavage – the dress shows to an advantage with that. It's roughly a size small. Measurements are as follows, measured flat: bust 30", waist 28" flaring out at the hips. The dress is approximately 50" long in the front, and 57" long in the back. It fit me when my measurements were: 34A, 27" waist, 37" hips. It might look better on someone who is a bit larger in cup size, and an inch smaller in the waist/hips. 	Black Velvet Renaissance Dress by Lip Service - This is a Renaissance-style Lip Service dress that I purchased new about 6 years ago, and then never wore. It longs to be worn. I have no idea what line it was from. It is made of lush black velvet and has no stretch at all to it. There are insets of purple satin with delicate black lace overlays. The dress is trimmed in black braided cord, and there is corset-style lacing down both sides and down the upper arms so that you can get a really good fit. The sleeves bell out at the bottom and come to points, and there is a slight train in the back that comes to a point. It zips up the back. Size petite or extra-small. 	Vintage Ivory Victorian Prairie-Style Dress - This is a romantic ivory dress made in the Gunne-Sax-style, but it does not have a manufacturer's or size tag. It is of good quality, though, and fits the romantic Victorian prairie style. It seems to be a size small. The bust is approximately 30", the high waist is 26", and the hips are fuller so this is an estimate but I wouldn't go over 32 to 34". Since there is no content tag, I'm guessing that the fabric of the dress is some kind of muslin or poplin, and there is a lace panel that goes down the front. The dress is full-length and drags the ground on my 5'3" frame. The bodice laces up and is adjustable. The sleeves have lace inset on them, and the dress is trimmed in beautiful crocheted lace. There doesn't appear to be any sweat stains under the arms, and the dress overall is quite clean. The only repairs the dress requires are where the fabric has come undone from the zipper in two spots, less than 1" each. It would take just a few minutes and a needle and thread to close them up. They don't appear to be ripped, the threads have just come loose. I think this dress is in very good condition considering its age, but please remember it is vintage and does show wear. This is a gorgeous dress, and I would love to see it go to a good home! I don't know exactly when this dress was made, and my best guess is the 1970s or early 1980s, but anyone who loves romantic clothing, especially in the vein or Renaissance or Victorian clothing will want to have this in their collection. 	Satin & Velvet Gown with Matching Wrap - This is such a lovely and elegant dress! It was handmade by a friend of mine. This is the bridesmaid dress that my sister wore for my wedding. The bodice is made of velvet in a beautiful shade of dark purple. The skirt and matching wrap are made of a gorgeous dark blue-ish-purple satin. It is fully lined and very well-tailored. The wrap really ties the whole outfit together, and adds a really nice touch. The skirt is very full and ball-gown-ish. The skirt has 2 layers of fabric with full black petticoats underneath, and a slip-like lining so the petticoat netting won't scratch you. It zips up the side and is not stretchy. It fits like a size extra-small to small, bust 32" up to 34" (fits a bit better on a 32" though), waist up to 28", hips free, length 56". The matching satin wrap is about 17.5" by 81". Only worn once and in excellent condition. The only flaw I can find is that the velvet seems to have faded to a slightly red-ish-purple just under each armpit area. This is only in a small area though, so it shouldn't really be noticeable when it's worn. Smoke-free, pet-free household. 	Chestnut Brown Velvet Burn-Out Dress - This is a beautiful long velvet dress with an intricate burn-out pattern. The color is a lovely, rich, dark, chestnut brown. It has two layers - the bottom is a stretchy black under-dress and the top part is the velvet burn-out layer. Made by Pariscope. No size tag, but I would call it a size small, bust 34", waist up to 30", hips about 36", and length is 51". It looks like someone altered this dress to make the shoulder straps a couple of inches shorter - this could easily be undone with a stitch-ripper if you don't like how it fits. 	Black & Sheer Dress from Laundry by Shelli Segal - I wish that this dress would fit me! It is so gorgeous, and it's just a little bit too big for me. Made by prestigious design label Laundry by Shelli Segal. This is a beautifully tailored dress. It has a sheer area just above the bust and another starting around mid-thigh (these are a bit hard to see in my photos, even though I've lightened them). The sheer areas are an entire over-dress actually, and it's attached to a little silky under-dress. It is slinky and flowing. It zips up the back and fastens with a button at the neck. The skirt is slightly longer in the back than in the front. 100% rayon. Size 6, or medium, bust about 34", waist up to 30", hips 36", length 48" in front and about 54" in back. While taking the measurements for this dress I noticed that there is one tiny snag in the sheer overdress, it is right near the bottom on the left side. I bought this dress used and I've never worn it. It looks like the previous owner tried to mend this tiny flaw, and it's really not noticeable at all when the dress is worn.
